Used to increase muscle mass, build strength and increase your performance, creatine is actually a substance that is found naturally in muscle cells. It has a very similar structure as amino acids, and the body can actually use the amino acids glycine and arginine to produce creatine.

Introducing 1st Phorm Creatine

alex smith scooping 1st phorm creatine

1st Phorm Creatine powder provides you with explosive power and strength by supporting adenosine triphosphate regeneration and increasing the volume of your muscle cells. It’s one of 1st Phorm’s best selling products, with creatine being a popular workout supplement all the way back in the 90s. So many athletes have used it to train harder and perform better.

When our body is under stress or being exerted, it uses creatine as an energy source and to fight off any fatigue that could develop and ultimately slow you down. In this product, creatine monohydrate has been included to also act as a muscle cell volumizer. When you up your creatine intake, this helps your body regenerate energy within the muscles while reducing the process of glycolysis, which is the breakdown of glucose into energy. This will also reduce any lactic acid that may build up in your muscle.

There have been lower quality creatine supplements on the market that cause a lot of GI discomfort. 1st Phorm has rectified this by developing their product as a micronized monohydrate product. That means it mixes really easily and can be absorbed into the bloodstream much faster. It doesn’t cause any bloating or upset stomach issues.

Pros

  • Absorbs into the bloodstream quickly
  • Doesn’t cause GI distress
  • Increases muscle cell volume
  • Supports ATP regeneration
  • Increases power and strength
  • Mixes easy

Cons

  • You have to increase your fluid intake a bit when taking creatine
  • A powdered supplement can sometimes get messy and inconvenient if you’re on the go

What Does 1st Phorm Creatine Do?

There are a number of benefits that you can achieve with the regular use of 1st Phorm’s creatine supplement. Here’s what the brand advertises.

Improves Workouts

Creatine is designed to be used prior to your workout. When you use it regularly, you should see an increase in your muscle mass thanks to being able to workout harder and recover faster. Your workouts are really taken to a whole new level with the use of creatine.

Explosive Power and Strength

You get big, explosive bursts of power and strength when you’re using creatine. When you’re working out, you won’t fatigue as quickly. You’ll be able to keep going, and maybe be able to push harder than you normally do so you achieve better results.

Supports ATP Regeneration

When you’re working out, your muscles have a limited supply of ATP and it’s used up very quickly. Creatine can regenerate ATP quickly so you have an endless supply that keeps you going. If you find that you’ve been struggling to get through your workout and don’t have the endurance to add a few extra reps to your set, creatine from 1st Phorm may benefit you.

Increases Muscle Cell Volume

Micronized Creatine Monohydrate from 1st Phorm can help increase the volume of your muscle cells so your body looks bigger. This is done by increasing the amount of water that’s stored in your muscle cells. Think of it as an increase in hydration. When you have more water stored in your skin or other parts of the body, they tend to look plumper and more defined. While you might not appreciate this in areas like your stomach, your muscles can look much bigger when you’re using creatine and more water is held there.

Strengthens the Heart

You’ve probably read a lot about the use of stimulants and different low-quality workout supplements that have the potential to be bad for your heart. This creatine supplement from 1st Phorm can actually protect and strengthen your heart by lowering your heart rate, increasing left ventricular systolic pressure, increasing coronary flow throughout your heart and decreasing something called isocitrate dehydrogenase, which is a blood count that can indicate cell death.

Reduces the Effects of Aging on the Skin

You may be surprised to learn that creatine can actually have a profound impact on your skin. It’s naturally found in our skin cells, though our natural production of creatine will decline as we get older. It’s a lot like collagen in the sense that we need to supplement with it if we want to prevent signs of aging. Creatine supplements can reduce the appearance and development of fine lines and wrinkles, improve the firmness of your skin and protect your skin against damage caused by UV light. Creatine can also boost your production of collagen, which is another important component of anti-aging.

1st Phorm Creatine Ingredients

As a fitness and wellness enthusiast, one of the things that I love about 1st Phorm is that they don’t include anything unnecessary in their products. When you look at the ingredient list for Micronized Creatine Monohydrate, you’ll find that the only active ingredient is creatine monohydrate. There hasn’t been anything else added to this mixture. 1st Phorm has skipped the use of artificial ingredients like flavors, colors or preservatives.

Creatine monohydrate is one of the most popular forms of creatine supplements used for working out. Its structure is just creatine with one molecule of water attached to it. This product is approximately 88 to 90 percent creatine by weight.

How to Use

1st Phorm Creatine

1st Phorm recommends using one teaspoon of their Micronized Creatine Monohydrate with a glass of cold water or juice. For maximum benefits, you should be using this product each day, or at least on your workout days. It can be combined with 1st Phorm’s Phormula-1 pre-workout supplement as well as the Ignition post-workout.

Whenever you’re supplementing with Micronized Creatine Monohydrate, you need to consume at least 120 ounces of water per day. In order to transport more water into your cells in order to increase muscle ATP, an ample hydration source is necessary.

Is 1st Phorm Creatine Safe?

There has been some speculation over the years that creatine use can lead to weight gain, stomach issues, muscle cramps or liver and kidney problems. There have actually been a lot of studies done that show it’s perfectly safe to use and won’t cause these complications. Creatine is also not a steroid or a stimulant, like some people refer to it as.

You can utilize 1st Phorm Creatine on a daily basis. There is no supporting evidence that suggests you should see any kind of problems as long as you’re adhering to a dose that is under 25 grams per day. 1st Phorm has made sure that you’re completely safe with using their product by only dosing five grams of creatine per dose.

My Experience with 1st Phorm Creatine

By no means am I a body builder or looking to build crazy amounts of muscle on my body. However, I do find it very important to maintain a healthy lifestyle that incorporates healthy foods along with exercise. I’ve also needed to lose some weight in the past, so I know what it’s like to want to bust out an exceptional workout. I don’t really like to use stimulants in my own personal life due to the side effects that they often cause me, so I was eager to try 1st Phorm’s Creatine. It’s a low-dose product that still promises to produce some pretty impressive results.

I started by using 1st Phorm’s Creatine on just my workout days. I have been working out approximately five days per week for a coupler of years now, so that was the routine I opted for. I took it shortly before my workout, and I was pleasantly surprised with the results that I experienced.

What I Liked

I found that I had more energy during my workout. I have a certain amount of miles that I like to hit on the treadmill, and I do a little bit of weight lifting after that’s done. I usually struggle to get through the weight lifting portion of my workout because I’m out of energy, but I was able to successfully get through entire sessions without feeling like I wanted to stop. However, I didn’t feel any kind of jittery or anxious feelings like I have with some of the pre-workouts that I’ve tried. After a couple of weeks of using this creatine supplement, I found that my muscles looked a bit more defined.

What I Didn’t Like

I have heard of some people gaining weight when taking creatine, and I can’t really attest to that. I’m a firm believer in not watching the number of the scale. I prefer to watch what my body looks and feels like. I don’t think I gained any substantial weight during the use of creatine from 1st Phorm, but I did notice some additional muscle definition so there may have been a pound or two tacked on to my overall weight. Nothing that made me look any larger elsewhere though. I may have experienced a little extra water retention in my middle section, but it wasn’t anything alarming that made me feel self conscious.

As far as GI issues are concerned, I experienced a tiny bit of stomach upset the first few times I took the product. However, it went away rather quickly and I haven’t experienced this problem again.

What Could Be Improved

I like that the product isn’t flavored, but I didn’t really like how it made plain water taste. That made me want to add it into juice, but then I was consuming more sugar than I wanted to. It might be nice to have the option for a flavored creatine supplement that doesn’t contain artificial sweeteners but also doesn’t have a lot of sugar.

1st Phorm Creatine Price and Where to Buy

You can purchase 1st Phorm Micronized Creatine Monohydrate on the 1st Phorm website, which is located at https://1stphorm.com/. The current cost of this product is $29.99 for 50 servings of product (a one-time purchase), or you can opt for the 100 servings container that costs $39.99. The value is much better with the bigger size.

Average Rating and Real 1st Phorm Creatine Reviews

This product currently has a 4.9 star out of five-star rating. There are 2900 reviews listed as well. People rave about how it helps speed up their recovery, help them build more lean muscle and improve their energy reserves. A lot of the reviews mention that these are people who have taken a creatine supplement before, but this is by far the best one they’ve tried.
